Formed in December of 1993, Nel Aspinal soon solidified into a line-up of Curt, Chad and Tim Stover. Balancing strong pop song-writing with a stoned-out groove, the group's punk-sensibilities on codeine sound came together. In April of 1995, Tommy Hamilton (Gruel, Tight With Milk) replaced Tim, and the group has successfully developed their sound further. The band has released three 7" records and two CDs that reveal an ability to mix 60s pop, 70s classic rock, 80s punk and 90s indie slack into a sound of their own.
"This enfolds the charm The Kinks had in their 'The Village Green Preservation Society'-days brought in an up to date strummy-grungy context." -- Lord Litter
